This is my second time visiting Stage, and I apologize for the delay in posting this review. Here's a detailed account of the entrees I tried in September 2023 and again on November 22, 2024. Food - 10 Decor and ambiance - 10 Service -10 In September, we enjoyed two cocktails: the **Black Gold Fashioned**, made with Wild Turkey Longbranch, Cynar, and coffee orange saccharum, and the **Oh Me Oh Mai**, which consisted of Noxx & Dunn Florida rum, Wray & Nephew overproof rum, orgeat, a signature passion tropical mix, and nutmeg. The unique twist on serving the cocktail in an ivy drip bag was a fun experience, providing about three drinks from one bag. For appetizers, we had the **Spicy Tuna Bomb**, featuring semolina puri with spicy soy, green goddess, and avocado, as well as the **Plantain Chaat**, which included yogurt, pomegranate, tamarind, mint, and crispy potato. We shared the **Butter Chicken Masala** with jasmine rice and truffle naan, and for dessert, we indulged in the **Sticky Toffee Date Cake** accompanied by ginger toffee sauce and ice cream. On November 22, we returned to celebrate my partner's birthday. We started with the **Bell & Evans Chicken Liver Pate**, which was delectable. For our main dishes, we had the **Pan Roasted Local Fish** with okra, heirloom tomato, and rassam hollandaise, which was my favorite. We also ordered the **Fried Chicken** with Malvani coconut curry and lime. While it was good, it wasn't my top choice, although I still recommend everyone try it. Additionally, we sampled garlic naan with ricotta and honey. It was an interesting combination, but I believe the naan is excellent on its own without the additions. We also ordered a side of **Basmati Rice Grits**, which were simply "WOW." To finish off our meal, we again enjoyed the **Sticky Toffee Date Cake** with ginger toffee sauce and ice cream, which was absolutely decadent. We had two drinks: an **Oh Me Oh Mai** and a **Black Gold Fashioned** once more. Overall, it was another wonderful dining experience at Stage!
Everything at this place is phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in PGA with ties to Ela Curry about 10 minutes away from it. There’s also a ton of GF options. The food is really just incredible. They have the best Naan I have ever had. I highly highly recommend the wagyu beef tartare it’s unlike any other one and it’s off the charts. Oh and they have a Gf fried chicken which is incredible. The service is amazing and it’s a nice atmosphere with a bit of an upscale dining feel. You know it’s great when the chef walks around to ask people about their meal. If you’re looking for Indian food with a bit of a twist that’s a little more modern this is the spot. I highly recommend! 10/10 Check out the pics I posted.
I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and what a wonderful surprise it was. The food is amazing. The chicken masala is delicious. The fish dip was the best I’ve ever had. I’m definitely putting this place on my favorites list.
This place lives up to all of the hype. Contemporary and cultural without being too much of either and I don’t think it requires an advanced palate but as an adventurous eater I’ve had most of this menu and it rocks! For me it’s hard to stray too far from the butter chicken, the tuna bombs, the garlic naan, and all the chutneys and there are countless reviews here on that. I’m here specifically to comment on the burger. I’ve heard how good it was but never had a chance to stop for lunch to try it till two weeks ago (it’s now on the dinner menu I’ve learned)...life changing hamburger and I don’t say that lightly. Aged cheddar, sourdough seeded bun, caramelized onion, a burger sauce...I almost ate my own fingers. The pickles and fries were perfect too, I’m getting hungry just writing this. I always recommend this as my #1 place in the Gardens/Jup area and the feedback is always great.
It was our first visit to Stage, but certainly not our last! It's so refreshing to find a restaurant in South Florida that has an exciting menu, born not of gimmicky trends, but of true study in multiple cuisines. The chef has beautifully married his Indian heritage with Spanish tapas culture and it was an absolute treat to sample all the wonderful flavors. Our server, Elizabeth, was so knowledgeable of the menu and gamely answered all of our questions as well as offered a "greatest hits" so we wouldn't miss anything wonderful. And it was all wonderful, by the way! We especially loved the plantain chaat dish, the Spanish octopus, and the mignonette on the oysters was a really cool take on a classic. Can't wait to return soon.
Great service. Great drinks. Even better food. We had the beef tartare and fish dip as appetizers and both blew us away. The drinks were perfectly strong and the Oh Me Oh Mai even came in a hilarious little IV drip with enough drink to fill 3 cups. The butter chicken was phenomenal and we couldn’t get enough. If I lived in this town I would be here every single week and for every occasion. Couldn’t recommend more.
Stage Kitchen & Bar isn’t just another trendy eatery; it’s a testament to the idea that food should provoke, challenge, and ultimately, satisfy. And it does—beautifully. The kind of place where the familiar collides head-on with the unexpected. You’ll want to go slow, savoring what’s on the plate. Even with dietary restrictions like gluten-free or celiac, the kitchen doesn’t falter. They’ve crafted options that cater effortlessly to these needs, a deeply appreciated touch that doesn’t compromise on flavor. The drinks? Equally impressive. Every cocktail feels like it’s been designed to complement the mood of the food—balanced, creative, and full of flavor. The service seals the deal. Friendly, attentive, and informed, the staff elevate the entire experience, seamlessly accommodating preferences and restrictions without skipping a beat. Stage Kitchen & Bar is more than a meal; it’s an experience, leaving you full, maybe a little tipsy, and with a story worth telling. Isn’t that what dining out should always be?
A wonderful Indian inspired menu. We had the Plantain Chaat, Duck Confit Rolls, Wood Grilled Spanish Octopus, and Garlic Naan which were all terrific. Very nice atmosphere/ vibe. Very good service. And reasonable prices.
